Gualala Robotics

Gualala Robotics. Inc. first came to light in 1986 in the small coastal town of Gualala CA. Gualala is Pomo Indian for "where the river meets the sea".

After developing the light movers "LightRail™ 2", "LightRail 2 HyperDrive" and a time delay unit called "Smart Box" for promoting even plant growth from end to end in the garden. Gualala Robotics moved from its Gualala / Point Arena California location to Steamboat Springs Colorado in 1993. Gualala Robotics then went on to develop “LightRail 3" and “LightRail 3 Smart Drive" light movers, the latter having a fixed 30 second time delay, thus eliminating the need for “Smart Box”. Next, Gualala Robotics developed the light movers we know today as "LightRail 3.5 IntelliDrive" with a 0 to 60 second adjustable time delay, and LightRail 5.0 Commercial Duty with "IntelliDrive".

For 2011 Gualala Robotics is introducing the all new "LightRail 4 AdjustaDrive” with both 2 feet per minute to 4 feet per minute adjustable speed control and a 0 to 60 second adjustable time delay, giving growers the ultimate in control.

Gualala Robotics is celebrating 25 years of "Bringing Light to the Shadows" by manufacturing the world's leading LightRail brand light movers, made right here in the USA!
